Our adventure began with a simple observation: on social networks, there were many pages dedicated to travelling pebbles, but none of them offered an immersive experience that allowed you to follow these little explorers, or to visualise their journeys on an interactive map.
This is how our project was born, shaped by curiosity and the desire to create something original. So we embarked on learning Python, Django and Javascript, the tools that would bring this website to life.
But beyond the lines of code, our idea was also to share an enriching experience with people who love walking and exploring. We wanted to offer a user-friendly tool, enabling everyone to create their own travelling pebble, subscribe to it and follow it on its adventures around the world.
Our aim is simple: to create a community that shares a common passion for exploration, nature and the magic of small pebbles. We hope our site will become the perfect tool to spice up your walks, adding a playful touch to every stone you encounter along the way.
